Hi, I’m Sunshine!
At heart I am a creator and an educator. I have a voracious appetite for knowledge, and I love to find creative ways to encourage others along in their learning journey.
My experience includes:
Homeschooling: When my children were young I schooled them at home. We engaged in child-led learning and an enthusiastic exploration of the world.
Formal Early Childhood Education: I have a Master’s in Early Childhood Special Education, and I have 10 years of experience in the classroom.
Informal Museum Education: I ran the early childhood space at a major museum in which we saw over 400,000 young children and their caregivers each year.
Teacher Professional Development: For the past 5 years, I have created and delivered hands-on professional development opportunities for early childhood educators.
